Pursuit vs Involvement

In terms of personal relationships, I’ve heard numerous of people use ‘pursuit’ and ‘involved’ as if both words have parallel meanings.

Pursuit is when there’s expression of interest among two parties. Involved is when one of both parties has interest. In other words one is plural and the other is singular (sorry to take you back to English 101).

Question: Have you ever been involved in a relationship when you thought there was pursuit from the other person?

Feel free to comment below.

Lesson Learned #5: Pursuit has the potential to build relationships, being involved is mostly a transaction.
